Birthday Party Reservation

What kind of parties can be booked online?
All kids parties can be conveniently booked online. All packages include 10 individuals. We do offer the option for additional guest to join. Please note that corporate events cannot be booked online. Please email Event Director, info@shindig-entertainment.com to connect with the event director.

What if I'm not sure about my party's final headcount?
We get it, sometimes plans change. To help with this, we allow you to make changes to your party up to 7 days prior to your event. 7 days prior to your event please email us the final headcount. This information is important to us in case we need to add on required bowling lanes, as well as so that our kitchen and staff are prepared. It is very important you give us an accurate headcount since we may not be able to make day of changes if for example, you’ll need additional lanes. When adding individuals to the party please email jwright@shindig-entertainment.com to connect with the event director.

What if I need to change/edit my reservation after I've already checked out?
If you need to modify your reservation after booking, please send us an email at jwright@shindig-entertainment.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to COVID -19, when booking on-line we will issue a full refund with a 24 hour notice in the event of a cancellation. When booking off-line or in-house, refunds will be given in the form of a Shindig Gift Card to be used anywhere in our facility, provided a 24 hour notice is given for the cancellation. Do you provide the cupcakes, invitations and decorations?
Yes. We provide balloons, cupcakes along with the Shindig color theme. No pinatas or décor will be permitted to be hung on the walls.

Will plates, napkins, cups, and utensils be supplied?
Yes. We go with the theme of the Shindig Colors. You choose two colors for balloons and we match your color with the choice of your balloon choice.

Do we have a private room?
No more than 20 people in each party room. Seating is 12 chairs per room. If you choose to upgrade to the VIP area for a party, the VIP lane prices apply.

Will someone be there to help me with the kids?
Yes, you will have a party host. Their main job is to greet the birthday child and their guest. The party host takes everyone through all the attractions and interacts with everyone. The party host is with the party until the end of blowing out the candle. Parents still need to be at the party as it is going during the required time of the party.

Can we order additional food the day of?
Yes. You will be charged the day of your party for any additions not included in your contract.

Can we bring in our own food?
As we are a licensed facility, no outside food or drink is allowed. If you have a birthday package booked, you can bring in a cake from a ServSafe Certified https://www.servsafe.com facility with this certification only.

How much time prior to my party’s start time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your party’s start time.

If I’m planning a kid’s birthday party, does the birthday child bowl for free?
The birthday child counts towards the total headcount of your party.

Is Gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included in our party packages you can choose. All staff are grateful for any gratuity added to your bills.

*As a reminder all bowling and events must be paid for in full prior to the starting. This is what activates the lanes.

Shindig Family Entertainment Center respects and is committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visit. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Single lane reservations:
Due to Covid-19, we are allowing a full refund with 24 hours notice for single lane reservations. Please contact our offices @ 205-650-7777 to cancel or reschedule. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible for full cancellations.

Multi-lane reservations:
Due to Covid-19, we are allowing a full refund with 24 hour notice for multi-lane reservations. Additionally, partial cancellations of up to 50% of your lanes may be made up until 72 hours in advance of your reservation. Multi-lane reservations are non-refundable less than 72 hours prior to your reservation.

***Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation and have not contacted us. We may resell your lane without refund. This applies to all reservations.

1. STAY BEHIND THE FOUL LINE
For your safety, stay behind the marked foul line in your bowling lane (the marked line before the lane itself). The lanes are oiled daily causing them to be slippery. If a ball gets stuck or a bumper falls, please contact the front desk staff to help you. Don’t walk on the lane past the foul line!

2. PREVENT SLIPPERY/STICKY CONDITIONS
Please keep all food and drinks within the bowlers’ sitting area to keep the approach area by the ball return free of liquid and debris. This helps your shoes stay clean so you can slide before releasing your ball.

3. PREVENT AND AVOID TRIPPING HAZARDS
Bowling bags, coats and street shoes should be stored directly under the seats or tables in the bowlers’ area. It’s important to keep the walkways clear of things that may cause you or others to trip.

4. BOWLING BALLS ON THE BALL RETURN
Wait for moving balls to stop in the ball return tray before retrieving or replacing your ball. Keep your hands out of the hole where the balls come out. There are moving parts which are not meant to come into contact with our guests and they could cause injury. Keep a special eye out for curious children wanting to investigate the ball return. Please keep no more than 8 balls on each ball return.

5. TEST YOUR BOWLER’S SLIDE
Test slide your bowling shoes on the approach to get the feel of the floor. Sliding is part of bowling so you want to make sure the floor is just right for you. If you think the approach area is too slippery or sticky, just ask an employee for assistance before you start your game.

6. BOWLING SAFETY BASICS
Please review these Bowling Safety Basics and with each bowler in your party. This is especially important for children and first time bowlers who may not understand the risks associated with the sport of bowling. Parents are responsible for the actions and location of their children at all times.

7. LIQUOR POLICY
Please note as a licensed facility we are obligated to keep our staff and guests safe. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone who seems to be intoxicated upon entry or ordering. We reserve the right to ask a guest to leave if they become intoxicated. Any drug use will result in removal from and potential banning from the facility.
Shindig Family Entertainment Center reserves the right to ask anyone who is not following these rules or otherwise jeopardizing the safety of others to leave the facility.
